Maggie went to the girl-liid dance she wishes she could remember the Koandsn who said, "aw go on, you'll never miss a few hours sle-p, you art! crazy talking about being too old." It's true (about not missing the sleep) my feet hurt so bad I could not sleep if I had a bed! Think I'll write Mr. Ditto, he's the man that gets out a "How's Your Dog column. (He might advise stay ing away from dances and the boys could not take that!) Almanac or no almanac, my dogs say the day after a dance is the longest in the year.

Anyway me an' Jo joined the army Held representatives I think! I know what a dog's life is now having four feet that moan. An' Jessie Wilson was just a cleaning up the shop when I dragged in to say hello. She can take it and that's not all I know some what did not know when they had enough and wanted to go to Punta Gorda for more dance! I wish I could tat. Wilson Dunham said he did not go because so many girls wanted to take him! Believe me I'm not ever going to ask a fellow to go a dancer not anymore after this one. And I don't think they had any right to call me a chisel-er just because I would not spend money on them.
