After his retirement he owned and operated the Sensmsier Fire and Safety Equipment Co. of Evansville end then moved to Fort Myers. Ho was a 32nd degree Mason belonging to the Reed Lodge No. 316, Evansville, and also a charter member of the Araba Temple of Fort Myers.
