On more than one occasion there was a production crisis when Pamela, a iormer New York model, lost or mis placed her "eyes." She left two sets of lenses in the seat of a London taxi while making a film. When a London newspaper advertisement failed to locate them, spares were jetted in from New York. As a "State Fair" heroine, she dropped one of the lenses on the lawn of a farm near Dallas, which was being used as a location.

Cast and crew crawled around on hands and knees and the electrician who finally found them quipped: "Next time you are green- eyed, Miss Tiffin, I hope you are working in blue grass country." Pamela scored her biggest film hit as an airline hostess in "Come Fly With Me." All the nation's film critics agreed that she stole the film from a high-powered cast headed by Hugh O'Brien and Dolores Hart. "I couldn't have been more surprised," she says. "I was about to be married (to magazine editor Clay Felker) and I really wasn't with it (the film). "Maybe I'm the type who shouldn't keep my mind on my work. WMU Will Install Officers Monday Mrs.
