EVERGLADES LANES Sal Nicotera bowled a lone 211 and recorded 610 to head the men of the Mixed Couples. Dora Seward was high among the distaffers, scoring 543-214. I MM Tigers Defeat Dragons 25-14 The unbeaten Tice Tigers chalked up their 5th straight victory Saturday night by downing the the North Fort Myers Dragons 25-14 in an Edison Conference Pop Warner game at Waterway Estates field. In a preliminary game the North Pee Wee Spartans blanked the Tiger Cubs 14-0. North took the lead in the first quarter on Ruben Greer's 3-yard run. Tice came back and tied it on a 5-yard run by Levi Riggins in the second and the teams were tied 6-6 at the half.

Riggins went 12 yards in the third quarter to put the Tigers in front 12-6. But the Dragons came back and took the lead as Lindsey Walker raced 55 yards for a TD and Greer kicked a 2-point conversion. Late in the third period Maurice Gilmore put the Tigers ahead with a 53-yard scoring scamper. Tice iced the game in the fourth quarter on Riggins' 5-yard scoring smash. Rusty Edwards scored the extra point after the final TD.

Riggins, Gilmore and Mike Styles led the Tice offense with Edwards, Rick Hendricks and Gilmore leading the defense. Greer, Walker and Anthony Hart were the offensive standouts for North with Bobby Sievert, Greer and Alfonso Kendrick the top players on defense. In the preliminary game Johnny Frambo romped 35 yards and Brian Dattolico 30 for touchdowns for the Spartans. Two more points went on the board when Dattolico tackled Gary Byrd for a safety in the Tice Cubs' end zone. Frambo and Dattolico led the North offense and Rod Gatewood and Dattolico the defense.

Leroy Thomas and Jay Tanner led the Tice offense and Tanner and Byrd the defense. 3. New oil filter. 12 volt kicked for the extra point. The PAL Gators regained the lead in the second quarter when Charley Byrd scored on a quarterback sneak from the one-yard line.

Again the kick for the extra point failed. The final two touchdowns and two-point conversions for Naples were scored by Mark Devoe. Devoe scored his first touchdown in the third quarter when he ran 40 yards off tackle. Devoe scored his final touchdown when he intercepted an Arcadia pass and ran 65 yards. For his outstanding performance Devoe was voted the Naples offensive back in the game.

Virginia Tech Tops Indians By 41-30 Score BLACKSBURG, Va. (AP) Virginia Tech turned the last two of seven William Mary fumbles into a pair of touchdowns within a one minute span in the final period Saturday and came from behind to defeat the Indians in football 41-30. Tailback Jim Barber scored the decisive points for the Techmen on runs of three and two yards after Tech had pounced on fumbles on the Indian's 16 and 15 yard lines.
