Fort Myers (Fla.) News-Press, Oct. 22, 1972 Della Bitta Sledge Betrothal Told MISS DELLA BITTA Plans for the wedding of Miss Linda Della Bitta and Dr. William Webb Sledge are being announced today by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Della Bitta of Bokeelia.

Dr. Sledge is the son of F. Lee Sledge of Gadsden, and the late Kathryn P. Sledge. Miss Della Bitta was graduated from Rosarian Academy in West Palm Beach and received a bachelor of arts degree in Spanish and business administration at St.

Mary's Dominican College in New Orleans, La. She was a member of the International Language Association of Colleges and Universities. Until recently, Miss Della Bitta was employed with the Louisiana State Department of Public Welfare as a social case worker in Orleans Parish, Dr. Sledge received his undergraduate degree from Auburn University in Alabama and was a member of Sigma Nu social fraternity. He received his doctor of medicine degree from Tulane University in New Orleans and was a member of Nu Sigma Nu medical fraternity.

Dr. Sledge completed a year of internship at Ochsner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans and is presently a flight surgeon at the USAF Hospital Clark in the Republic of Philippines. The wedding will take place at 2 p.m., Nov. 25 in 1 Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Mission on Pine Island. WE RENT!
