JAMESR. RECKAHN Devoted, beloved husband and father of Marian and James Robert II. Went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, January 1, 1997, af-tera brief illness. Mr. Reckahn was born April 18, 1934, in Buffalo, N.Y., and resided in Medina, N.Y. and Grand Island, N.Y., before retiring to Florida three years aao. He served over35yearsinthe Army, both Army Reserves and National Guard, from private to major and company commander of the 127th Infantry in Buffalo, N.Y. He attended officer's training school at Camp Smith in Peekskill, N.Y. He was a manufacturing manager with G.M. for over 33 years in Lock-port, N.Y. Memberships include: Officer of the General Motors G9 Man-agementClub, N.R.A. James was preceded in death by his ' parents, Jean and Eugene Beaver, and brother, Bruce (Carol) of Pennsylvania. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Marian; three brothers-in-law, Alvin, Martin, Earl Smith, all of Medina, N.Y.; sister-in-law, Jeannie Reckahn; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 7, 1997, at Lee Memorial Park Funeral Home, 12777 State Road 82. Interment will follow in Lee Memorial Park.
