Obituary: Jay Konowitch
JAY R. KONOWITCH AUGUST 21, 2012 Jay R. Konowitch 87, of Estero passed away August 21, 2012 at Life Care Center of Estero. Jay was born in Wild-wood, Wild-wood, Wild-wood, NJ on May 26, 1925 a son of Jacob and Florence (Wirkman) Konowitch. He proudly served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army. Jay was a graduate of The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania. He owned and operated South Jersey Sales for over 25 years. Jay is survived by his loving loving wife, Theresa R. "Terre" Konowitch; two children, Paul A. Konowitch and his wife, Judith of Irvington, NY and Sally B. Cohen and her husband, Martin of Ridge-field, Ridge-field, Ridge-field, CT. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Zack and Dana Cohen and Jeffrey and Margo Konowitch and his sister, sister, Sonia Karlin of Clermont, FL. Thank you to all of Jay's nurses and caregivers at Life Care. A special thank you to Jay's sister-in-law, sister-in-law, sister-in-law, sister-in-law, sister-in-law, Pat Nuck-ols Nuck-ols Nuck-ols and her husband, Dick for being Jay's lunch date for the past four year.
